Today at our language lab, you are required to complete the following 3 tasks:
If you finished all 3 tasks before the end of language lab session, please work on
task # 4 as well.

①＜タスク１＞

Read the blog entry posted by Kaku-sensei, titled "私の近所（きんじょ）"
(my neighborhood). Please leave your comment in Japanese after you've read it.

*IMPORTANT*
The computers at language lab do not allow us to type in Japanese.
As an alternative, please go to this website:

and type your comment in Romaji here first.

After you've done typing your comment, please copy your text
and paste it to the blog entry you read. Do not worry about using kanji for now.

②＜タスク２＞

Go to your own blog and write a short paragraph about your neighborhood in

After you've done typing your whole blog entry, please copy your text

* Use various location nouns (ex. となり、あいだ、近く).
* Use 〜にあります／〜があります／〜がいます。

③＜タスク３＞

Please comment on the blogs of your classmates (at least three).

* Try to write at least one sentence/question in Japanese in your comments.


④＜タスク４＞

Please comment on the blogs of other Japanese language students in the United States. To see other school's blogs, click "ともだちをつくろう (Let's make friends)" on the right-hand side of this page.

You can find 5 different schools (including CUNY City College) who are doing Japanese blog project this semester.
